Dengeki Daisy

Name: Dengeki Daisy (Electric Daisy)
Author: Motomi Kyousuke
Genre: Action, Comedy, Drama, Mystery, Romance, School Life, Shoujo, Slice of Life
Released: 2007
Status: Ongoing

Plot:
Teru lost recently her big brother and is living now all by herself. She doesn't have money and usualy gets into trouble with school's Discipline Commite but she's someone to help her. Before her brother died, he left her a phone with which she can contact to her brother's friend, Daisy. Daisy becomes Teru's support and only help but the girl's just too kind to tell her every problem to Daisy. One day Teru brokes one of school's windows and is forced to help strict and hoodlum school janitor Kurosaki with his job. Actually man puts Teru to do his every task! But Kurosaki isn't everything that Teru thinks he is...

Characters:
Teru ~ She's nice and lively girl but she's poor and doesn't have any relatives. Her only support is her textbuddy Daisy. Later she finds even Kurosaki pretty nice guy. Teru has brown hair and she's small which Kurosaki likes to tease her.

Kurosaki ~ He's young school janitor with horrible personality. He's good looking but actually really strict and gangser like. But he seems to have many secrets to hide... Kurosaki's hair is blond and he usually smokes.

Then why I think you should read this one?
Outside of characters the story line is also great. The fact that Daisy is mysterous and also *SPOILER* a hacker, Daisy seems to care Teru more than anything. Then why it's like that? Teru's only his friend's little sister so why does Daisy seem to be so worried about the girl? That's one interesting question you want to find out while reading this serie. Plus why is Kurosaki that good looking? And how come Teru seems to be so attracted to him? Even though the man seems to be horrible embloyer! Despite that the serie is interesting in many other ways too. But I think You should find out about it by yourself. ;) And what I can say about the characters is that I personally like Kurosaki's personality despite all that I just said about him. If that kind of guys were real... And Teru is that kind of girl that I like too. I can actually identify with her in some kind of way. That way you can find the serie more interesing. But if you like shoujo manga, this one is MUST READ!! :D The art is amazing after all.

WARNING! Might contain some spoilers.
Though this one descripes the serie so well that I'd cry. D; So amazing~

High School Debut

Name: Koukou Debut (High School Debut)
Author: Kawahara Kazune
Genre: Comedy, Romance, School Life, Shoujo, Slice of Life, Sports
Released: 2004
Status: Complete

Plot:
A tomboy, Nagashima Haruna, wants a boyfriend when she enter High School. Before she used to play soft ball and didn't care her appareance at all so she wants to become attractive. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to do well. When she's in town searching for possible boyfriend candidates, she falls down and handsome boy helps her up. Later Haruna gets to know that the boy is going to same school as her and asks him as her coach. Unwillingly the boy named Komiyama Yoh agrees with helping her out and chooses her suited clothes. Before that Yoh makes Haruna to promise him that the girl won't fall in love with him...

Characters:
Nagashima Haruna ~ Haruna's a lively and energetic girl who used to be pretty wild and boyish. She wanted to turn into attractive lady though but unfortunately she had a horrible sense of fashion. Haruna has a short brown hair and usually she has a wide smile on her face.

Komiyama Yoh ~ Yoh is a boy who used to hate girls. But when Haruna came to ask him as her coach, he changed. Suddenly he didn't seem to hate Haruna at all and so fell in love with her. Yoh has a good personality even though he's sometimes rude and says what he thinks. He cares of others and is quiet type. Plus he's popular and handsome. Yoh has a dark hair.

So why should you check this one out?
Again, one of those Must Read mangas. It has many chapters with full of love and funny situations. You can't help but love the main characters. Plus Yoh and Haruna make a good couple. They're not one of those sweet talking couples even though they think of each others every day and every minute. Their relationship could be described as unique and extremely funny. I'd like to have that kind of relationship myself... =)
The best thing in this manga is that it's focused on their love. At the beginning it all starts slowly but manga won't actually stop right there when they've confessed. It continues with many chapters of their problems and happy moments. So this is what you can call a real romance manga! It's cute and all but you won't get bored with too many lovey-dovey situations. And in this manga you can even feel the love the main pairing have. They're like friends but they're still lovers... (I know I suck at explaining things... but try to bare with it. =D)

WARNING! Might contain some spoilers! But this is very nice MMV so try watching it. :) And you'll get a better hold of the serie.

Because of this he got knocked out and they forched him to swallow a capsel that made him shrunk. That way he became ten years younger little child and now is finding a way to turn him and another victim Haibara Ai back to their older selves. Hattori Heiji ~ Heiji is also a teenager detective like Shinichi/Conan. He's also said to be his rival. The boy lives in Osaka and knows Conan's secret and is always trying to help him. He's also quite lively person. Heiji has dark skin and black hair.

So what makes it worth to read?
It's actually been a long time since I last read this serie. But I had to share this one with you because it's one of the first mangas that I have ever read and it's also one of those that I've ever liked this much. I started to read this actually only because it was "cool" back then to read manga (then everyone started to hate manga and only few continued reading it... I was one of those). That's the reason why I started to like this manga. Maybe it was becuase this was a little different from the very first one that I've ever read (it was shoujo) and I actually like detective stories.
So one plus goes to that fact this is a detective story. It's amazing to read how smart people come to conclusion of who's the murderer. I found it quite addicting. Even though romance or other scences with personal emotions happens rarely, it makes it only more interesting. When you're already tired of reading of of countless cases and numerous long explanations, something interesting actually happens between Ran and Conan or Heiji comes around. Or Shinichi's parents. They are quite cool people. Only thing you need with this manga is long patience. When you've read this and so on, something always happens. And if you like anime more, I can recommend anime version of this. It's actually great and the openings are cool too. That's one of the reasons you should watch it.
But don't get me wrong. This manga isn't that boring with these cases. It's amazing how the mangaka has come up with these ideas and so on. So you really should read this manga for that reason if you're interested in this kind of mystery things. Also you can find from this manga many ghost stories. So it's worth to read even without any romance scenes. I'm just a girl and hungry for romance. x')

WARNING! In this trailer the meaning changes a little. x') Don't mind that. You'll get the mainpoint anyway. Plus there might be some spoilers.

Dear My Girls

Name: Dear My Girls
Author: Kim Hee Eun
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Historical, Romance, School Life, Shoujo
Released: 2007
Status: Ongoing

Plot:
March family is full of talented girls. The oldest sister is a teacher and beauty, The second one is talented and the youngest is great artist. But the third one, Elizabeth March, doesn't have any special talents or radiant beautiness. She feels like an ugly duckling amongst beautiful swans. But just like the story of Ugly Duckling goes, even the most miserable one can be the one that shines the most.
After entering the same academy as her sisters, Beth meets Adrian, the boy from rich noble family. After that Beth's new life can start.

Characters:
Elizabeth March ~ The main character of manhwa. She's not proper lady like her elder sister wants her to be. She doesn't have any special gifts like others have. She's just Beth, the sister of talented March girls. In addition she has a sharp tongue and rough acts for a girls. Beth has brown/black hair which is always tied in two braids. Her eyes are blue and she wears beautiful dresses.

Adrian Avery ~ Ad is a boy from a rich family and he knows his place in society. He always likes to order Beth arounf because  of her lower status and is using his family name in every situation. He acts high and mighty but sometimes even he has a heart when he's worried of Beth. Ad has blonde hair and blue green eyes.

So what makes it good?
This manhwa is absolutely beautiful. (Manhwa is Korean "manga" FYI.) The art and especially the dresses that they wear are amazing and makes you wish that you'd wear them too. Then you look out of the window and see it's still year 2012 and swear your unluckiness at being born in 19th century. Darn... These historical stories can just be so addicting. While reading one you can sense the atmosphere of royalty and history. You can see how things would be if the world still were like that... or maybe it's good it's not like that anymore, ne? :) I read that this manhwa is adapted from Louisia May Alcott's novel "Little Women". Actually I haven't ever read it but I've heard it's good and at the same time sad... so I can just hope this one won't end like that that my sister told me the novel ended.
Back to the topic! The storyline is interesting though a little clishe. But it's good thing for historical things because these little things gives off it's past atmosphere. Complicated and twisted plots and lovetriangles are what you can wait from a serie like this. The maincharacter is at first underestimated but then she's seen like some kind of goddness. It's a little typical but I like that kind of things. How about you? If you can see yourself walking down the corridors of big castle or through the garden of renaissance school, this manhwa is suited for you. Only minus point must be given for the fact that you have to read this story from left to right... For me, I like read my manga the wrong way round. :) Or at least it's wrong way round in my country.

WARNING! SPOILERS! So if you don't like them, don't watch this. Just added it cause thought it'd turn my explanations make more sense.

Skip Beat!

Name: Skip Beat!
Author: Nakamura Yoshiki
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance, Shoujo, Slice of Life
Released: 2002
Status: Ongoing

Plot:
Mogami Kyoko used to live together with her childhood friend Fuwa Shoutaro. Shou was only using her as his stepping stone to fame. He made Kyoko do every housework and yelled ar her whenever he wanted. Then he went and called her ugly so Kyoko heard him. That made the girl angry and she swore revenge to him. That way Kyoko changed her appareance and applied for show business. That way she met Shoutaro's "enemy" Tsuruga Ren. At first Kyoko was laughed off but then she's noticed as a good actress and Ren takes notice of her. Also Kyoko doesn't seem to hate the man that much he though she would.

Characters:
Mogami Kyoko ~ Energetic and lively girl who is used as a maid at first by her best friend. She has a strong will and decides to enter in showbusiness and little by little starts getting more searious of her job. In the past she had black long hair but then she bleached it into light brown. Her eyes are brown.

Tsuruga Ren ~ Handsome and tall foreigner actor who has foggy past. He seems nice and tender but in the past he used to be cold and scary guy who got into fights. Ren has dark hair and eyes (actually his eyes are blue).

Fuwa Shoutaro ~ Childhood friend of Kyoko. He has bad temper and ill personality. Actually he's in love with Kyoko but is too selfish to admit it. After Kyoko entered in show business he was really mad to Ren and Kyoko. Shou has blonde hair and is usually showing off.

So what makes it good?
This is must read! If you like shoujo manga, this is something you can't pass. Even though the story might be a little clishe (girl gets in showbusiness because of some other guy) it makes you want to read more. Mangaka has drew the story full of humor and emparacing situations. You just can't help but fall in love with her art and story. Those both are something to adore. No wonder this is one of the most read mangas.
I can't really say much 'bout this one cuz it's been kinda long when I last read this but I can say that this manga has special atmosphere in it. When Kyoko gets into her role and starts acting you can't help but hope yourself being in her boots. It'd be so amazing to act... and alongside Ren too. (Okay, I'm trying to make these introductions for both genders... so no fangirlish acts now!)

WARNING! Might contain some spoilers! Not so sure though..
I thought this one'd tell you more about this serie. Even though this is an anime version. Hope u enjoy~

Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike!

Name: Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike! (No One Can Force to Stop Others from Loving Other People!)
Author: Abe Miyuki
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance, School Life, Shounen-ai
Released: 1997
Status: Ongoing (Finished in Japan)

Plot:
This is a story of a teenage boy who met other guy who changed him and who he changed. Fujishima Takara is short boy who enters school dorms after his grand-mothers death. Apparently he has to share his room with tall guy named Hosaka Kiyomine with who he had some problems in opening seremony of school. Even though they had many problems to get along, little by little they found themselves devoted to one another. This is a story of two boys and their love/friendship relationship.

Characters:
Fujishima Takara ~ Short and short tempered boy who is pretty tough dispite his looks. Everyone calls him cute but actually he's good fighter and always gets into trouble. Even though he's thoughtfull and nice guy and he cares of Kiyomine really much. Takara has blond hair and green eyes and pretty face.

Hosaka Kiyomine ~ Tall and handsome boy who likes Takara pretty much even though he denies that at first. He has a huge sister complex and he hates his older brother the most. He's cold and impassive towards other people but Takara and his sister make a difference. With other boy he's really provident. Kiyomine has black hair and manly face/body.

So what makes it good?
I became addicted to this manga only after reading one chapter. I found it really cute that two guys are at first fighting like crazy and hating each other no matter what. But then after that start liking each other little by little and suddenly notice missing other party. Their relationship is kinda complicated but they fit together better than anyone else. Their natures are what makes this manga tempting. Plus let's say that this is the first shounen-ai manga that has a really good storyline! In other mangas that I have ever read have had horrible story and too much sex or some sweet talking and falling in love in that very instant. It's not a good manga, people! It misses something! But this manga is going slowly enough, it has many chapter which means that it must have some kind of containing and these are what make you want to read the manga further. When some developing happens you can't help but get exited because you have waited for it so long! Your patience is payed back and you feel cuddling feeling in your stomach.
**SPOILER**
In futher chapters manga might get a little boring, because mangaka has added more people in it and reduced the time between Kiyomine and Takara. Plus she has made Takara's father and Kiyomine's sister fall in love and had focused on their relationship more than the mainpairings! That's something I have to give minus points for. Updating is fast enough though. Plus for that! =)

WARNING! If you don't like spoilers... this doesn't contain them that much. ;D So watch!
I thought this is enough to tell you guys more 'bout this amazing serie.

Acid Town

Name: Acid Town
Author: Kyuugou
Genre: Action, Adult, Drama, Shounen-ai, Yaoi
Rate: 18
Released: 2008
Status: Ongoing

Plot:
Yuki and Tetsu are breaking law just to get money to pay Yuki's little brothers hospital fee. They are walking darkest corners of city and whenever selling drugs or something else. They went even that far that they tried to steal money from some kind of big firm and failed. The leader of that firm, Kazutaka Hyodo, offers Yuki a deal that he can't resist: pay a visit at office once a week and hospital bills are paid of.

Characters:
Yuki ~ Young boy with a dark past. He cares the most of his sick little brother who is at hospital and he is trying to pay bills. He's actually pretty nice boy and doesn't want any bad to anyone. But sometimes he just has to. He also thinks highly of his best friend Tetsu who helped him in the past. Yuki wears grey hoodie and black jeans and black and white shoes. His hair is short and brown.

Tetsu ~ He's a young boy who is concered of his best friend Yuki more than anyone else. He can't stand watching the boy slowly getting in tight situation with money and Kazutaka Hyodo. Tetsu has black hair and glasses and wears also some kind of hoodie.

Kazutaka Hyodo ~ He's a big boss with cold nerves. He's even ready to sacrifice his underling if he has to. He seems to taken liking Yuki who tried to stole his money and offered a deal for him. Dispite his cold appearence he actually is pretty caring man. Hyodo wears almost every day a suit like businessmen should and he's dark short hair and piercing eyes and strong build.

So what makes it good?
Mangas storyline is interesting and the city that is used as a stage is also fitting for it. Sometimes when I read it I feel like I don't actually know anything about the world and how cold it can be. Also I have grown up in a small town so I really can't imagine how it is in bigger towns. Maybe that's one of the reasons I found this manga tempting. The main character Yuki is also one of those reasons. He's a victim of rape, he's a culprit to murder... Might sound a cliche but you can't help but feel sorry for this boy. Also his caring behavior towards his lil bro is sweet. Based on his backround, this behaviour can be found as cliche too. At first not concerned then over protecting.
Let's just say that I can't really say everythig about this manga now. Feels like I can't find right words to discripe this serie. It's just too amazing. And I can believe that now when everyone read that 'yaoi, shounen-ai' at genres, they're all like: "Oh no, not this again..." But you are all wrong (Sorry, bout this). This manga is a lot more than only two guys making out! This one actualy has a really good story in it. It makes you feel depressed and kick some arses because of angriness. This manga makes you feel. That yaoi part feels like some spin-off when you're reading this. The most imoportant part is that this story might even be true and you can't help but read about it. You actually are one lucky bastard if you haven't experienced anything like that. This manga makes you remember the reason why you're still here... So read it! It's a lot more than only some yaoi story!

WARNING! This video contains some spoilers. (Not too much though) So be careful etc.
I shared this with you guys, because I thought it would tell more than thousand words. ;)

Sekaiichi Hatsukoi

Name: Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi (The Best First Love in the World)
Author: Nakamura Shungiku
Genre: Comedy, Josei, Romance, School Life, Yaoi, Shonen-ai
Rate: Not under 18-years-olds
Released: 2008
Status: Ongoing

Plot:
Onodera Ritsu is an adult man with interest in literature but he's transferred into a shoujo manga publishing. That must be the worst nightmare for him because he's not interested in manga at all and on top of that the boss is someone he used to know in the past. The boss, Takano Masamune, is his first love in High School which he thought he had already forgotten. That makes things a lot harder for both of them. Takano says that he still loves Ritsu but what are Ritsu's feelings for him? He doesn't hate him but he doesn't love him either... or does he?
Manga includes also two other person's story from same company.

Characters:
Onodera Ritsu ~ Ritsu is a son of Onodera piblishing's head. Even though he's into literatures he was transferred into shoujo manga company. He hasn't come completely over his first love who is right now his boss. Ritsu is very nice and gentle person and polite even though he has really bad temper. His hair is brown and eyes green and he's Takano's neighbour.

Takano Masamune ~ He's the boss of Marukawa Shoten and boss of Ritsu. He still seems to love Ritsu with his whole heart and body. With boy he's favoring and gentle and really loving person but he still bullies his love with all his might. He's also very strict boss. Takano has black hair and dark eyes and sometimes he uses glasses.

Plus other pairings: Kisa & Yukina and Chiaki & Hatori.

So what makes it good?
Remember guys this is not for those under 18. (Ahem... Well, yeah, let's not talk about my age then.) So in other words there's a lot of SEX! And between two guys! So maybe that's the reason why I like it >3. But of course that's not the only reason. Nakamura-sensei's works have a lot of making out but also there's some kind of plot. The sex isn't meaningless in her series. And also that includes SH. You can feel the love between the main characters and how they want each other. That's why I'm shearing this manga with you, because it's not only doing H things. It's a lot more. It has a meaning and it's actually teaching... in many ways x')
At first I was concerned with the art. It wasn't anything to brag of. But little by little I grew more fond to her drawing style and those damn big spider arms they're grapping each others. Uhm...
Anyway, Ritsu is a cute character. Maybe a little too much alike with Misaki from Junjou Romantica which is also by same mangaka. Same goes to Takano and Misaki's other half Usagi. But still, they are the reason why I'm reading this. Other stories are also pretty good. But when you've just started to get interested in their relationship, the pairing chances back to previous. So you can't identify with the characters enough to start liking them. Even though other pairings might be good variation to the main pairing.

WARNING! Watching at your own risk! This video contains SPOILERS and YAOI scenes! So if you don't want to see those, avoid this AMV!
I still added it cause I thought it was good to tell more of this serie. :)

Ao no Exorcist

Name: Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist)
Author: Katou Kazue
Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Shounen, Supernatural
Released: 2009
Status: Ongoing

Plot:
Did you know that there are demons in this world...?
Okumura Rin didn't know when he suddenly get to know that he's one himself! And on top of that all he's Satan's son! Rin was raised as a normal child with his younger twin brother Okumura Yukio. But actually his brother and priest father all knew this and when their father dies by Satan's hands Rin wants to get a revenge and become an exorcist. After that Rin goes to a school which makes exorcists with his brother and starts his new and really long fight against prejudices.

Characters:
Okumura Rin ~ Rin is young and active boy who is actually a demon. He doesn't like studying or anything serious but he likes food and playing around. In the past he always got into fights which made his family worry. In other words he's complete opposite from his brother Yukio. Despite that he's someone you can rely on. Rin has black hair, blue eyes, sharp teeth, pointed ears and tail.

Okumura Yukio ~ Yukio is Rin's younger brother but is a lot calmer than his twin. He's systematic and serious person and in addition to all he's a teacher at exorcist school which Rin goes to. Even though his brother has demonic powers, Yukio doesn't have any. Yukio has black hair, grey eyes, glasses, freckles on face and he wears an exorcist's uniform and carries a gun everywhere.

Mephisto Pheles ~ He's a headmaster of the exorcist school. Mephisto is weird guy who seems to hide a lot of secrets in himself. For example that he's a demon too and also Rin's brother by being Satan's son. Meph wears white and pink uniform with topper.

So what makes it good?
This author can be descripted as genious. Even though the backround might resemble a little D.Gray-Man's plot but AnE makes still one unique and unforgotable story. Rin as main character is a hit win! He's not one of those perfect super heros in that very instant but he also has evil powers which he wants to use for good. Everytime you read the manga or watch the anime (which has already come to its end, unfortunately) you can't wait to see what Rin comes up this time. He's a person you can sympathize with. He's a lively person you want to see more. Also other characters are cool! Not only Yukio but other student's at school are making their own role. For example when Bon and Rin are betting on who's stronger or when Shiemi runs flying with her innocent face sparkling. Also that monk boy whose name I can't remember right now (sorry x'D) is making the story more intensive when he has doupts of Rin being the demon. (But that's also something that's really annoying, in my opinion...)
Also art's not that bad either. ^^ I've seen many manga where art is like it's not an important thing at all and that makes me mad. Even though the story is good the author hasn't put any effort to an appareance. It can be other way around too. When the art is really beautiful that you can even drool over it, the plot is that shitty that it makes you want to stop reading right there. In AnE both of these requirements has been fulled though.

WARNING! This AMV contains sopilers! So be careful before watching! ;)
I shared this one cuz I thought this video would descripe the serie pretty well.

Hana Kimi

Name: Hana Kimi (For You in Full Blossom)
Author: Nakajo Hisaya
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Gender Bender, School Life, Shoujo, Slice of Life, Sports
Released: 2004
Status: Completed

Plot:
Ashiya Mizuki is going to all-boys school even though Mizuki's actually a girl! The reason for this is that she attented to school because of young high jumper, Sano Izumi. When she used to live America she idolized him like crazy and wanted so badly to meet Izumi. With her best friend Julia she transformed into a boy and moved back to Japan and started her campus living whit who else but Sano Izumi. This brings more difficulties to girl but she doesn't give up no matter what! Little by little she gets used to boys around her and feelings are warming up all around the school...

Characters:
Ashiya Mizuki ~ She's a strong willed Japanese girl who used to live in America. Izumi is her idol but she's feeling a little more than only friendship. She has brown short hair (which she cut when attented to a all-boys school) and usually wears boys' school uniform.

Sano Izumi ~ At first he's a little cold towards Mizuki but little by little starts worrying about her. He actually knows Mizuki's secret. He's a former high jumper who stopped when gor injured. But he started jumping again thanks to Mizuki. He's black short hair and dark eyes.

So what makes it good?
The reason why I started to read this was because one of my netfriends had read it and noted it to be one of her favorite mangas. So I became curious and started to read it and actually fell in love with it. The main character is a big win! She's not one of those usual shoujo girls and she's confident of herself when going to all-boys school without hesitations. That's really something to respect. Not many would do that. But at the same time I found it annoying because she's complete opposite of me.
But natures of other characters and many complicated relationship problems are something to look forward to. Something suddenly happens when you wait it the less. But of course you can find some chlise parts in this manga. Those aren't annoying thing in anyway though. Plus this is complete manga so you don't have to wait updates.

WARNING! Contains spoilers! Don't watch if you're afraid of those!
I still wanted to add this because I thought it would give a better picture of the serie. =) And this one is cooly made.
